Below are our challenges and events planned out to help the community improve their healthy eating habits.
october 17: usc orientation! oct.- nov. : build website, social media campaign january : SPirit week! We will be promoting who we are on a more personal level and promote our health fair that will be in march! Students will participate in a week long event that consists of the following: Compliment Monday: Have people give compliments to others and record the praise, send it TO US VIA emaiL or post it on Twitter and tag @dreamteam_gbla W/ #complimentmonday Tone It Up Tuesday: wear workout attire! During lunch there will be work out challenges Water Wednesday: who can drink a gallon a water throughout the day? Sign up with fonseca in room 44 the friday before of the spirit week Take Care Thursday: each girl makeS 3 posters (each poster needs to have facts about being healthy or something that will motivate others) Fruity Friday: Students will be given a taste of a fruit salad during lunch and given the recipe to various fruit salads, smoothies, and other preparations with fruit. March: Health and wellness fair- We will be having an obstacle course* with a photobooth and stands that will be serving fruit and vegetables, 2 quick workout challenges, smoothies, and recipe information. *Obstacle Course Details here
